Frank and Lu Apollo are the husband-and-wife duo behind Mzansi NeoSoul.
They created Mzansi NeoSoul out of a love for the richness of South African soul and R&B, with the aim of giving the genre a name, a home, and a voice within the broader music culture.
“Skybookings actually discovered us. They sent us a message on Instagram, we got on a call and the rest was history. We migrated from our old ticketing platform to skybookings. Our first event together was our smaller recording session, where we really got to see how the platform works.
Our second event on skybookings became our largest event yet, thanks to a combination of things: first, the platform has tools like bulk messaging where we can contact our patrons directly — very handy.
Secondly, we worked with Skybookings Capital for the first time, which allowed us to raise funding to secure some of our dream artists, which took our events to a whole new level.
